IMDB rating: 2.80

Plot: Jayne Ferre needs to get out of Los Angeles fast. A strikingly beautiful woman, yet ruthless assassin for the mob; she is on the run with a suitcase full of a million dollars in blood money, stolen from mob boss Frank Bianci. Sixteen-year-old Kerry is on the run from a drug dealer set on payback. His mother Emily decides to take Kerry and start a new life in Texas, but doesn’t have enough money to get there. Jayne, who is now carrying a price on her head, must take out one would-be assassin at the train station before she offers to cover Emily’s expenses if she can hitch a ride to San Antonio. Emily and her son gladly accept the offer. The unlikely trio’s car breaks down and needs parts. They are left without a choice, so they check into a small motel for one night. While Jayne is showering, kerry sneaks a look through her belongings and discovers the case of cash. During the night, a well-meaning Kerry snakes into Jayne’s room and steals the briefcase, then hitches a ride back to Los Angeles. Jayne realizes what happened but first has to deal with Bianci’s men in a blazing gun battle outside the motel. Jayne forces Emily into a car and heads back to L.A. until Emily makes a daring escape. Alex Tyler, an FBI agent and seemingly Good Samaritan, picks Emily up and takes her back to L.A. At Emily’s house mob boss Frank Bianci is dead, along with a crooked detective, when Alex gets a call from Jayne, and it becomes clear that they are working together. Jayne has Kerry hostage and Emily must bring her money or she’ll kill him. But when Emily gets her hands on a gun, she turns the tables and a deadly standoff ensues between two trained killers, a couple of dirty cops, the mob, and a mother and son in what becomes a deadly game of wits to stay alive.

I am very depressed, please help?
I have been very depressed for about 9 months. In february i have suffered a major loss in love, then a couple of months later, my best friend told me she doesn’t care for me and that we were never friends. I had borrowed her money, and she ran on me, she moved away. I don’t care about the money, but I was very hurt by her betrayal, by what she did and said to me. She was also gossiping me around my back at work, even tho if it weren’t for me, she wouldn’t have gotten that job, and she needed one badly.
I am living in a country with an awfull economy. I used to live in a big city, where I had more job opportunities, but I had to leave to my small town (6000 people) again, because I lost my job, and my family did not support me anymore, even if they have a big construction bussiness.
I am currently living with my grandmother. I am very lonely and very depressed, I have been unable to find a job for the past 5-6 months.
I feel betrayed by my family, they don’t even call me to see if I am ok or not. My mother still cares for me, but she is divorced from my dad and can barely support herself and my little sister.
All my friends seem to have forgotten about me, even if I did a lot of things for them whenever I could. I loved them, but they seem not to care.
I don’t know what to do, I am out of money and I am so depressed I can barely speak or do something in an entire day.
I don’t know how long can I keep up like this, please, I need some help/advice!

I don’t advise taking pills that never works, look up some natural ways to beat your depression like excercising, find new positive friends for your self, get out the negative people in your life etc. If you have any thoughts of suicide call the suicide hotline.

Dear Lilith,
9 Months is a long time to feel that way. It sounds like you have been through a lot. It can really help to talk things over with someone. I’m not sure how old you are but Childline is available for children and young adults up to the age of 19. They have a 24 hour phone line 0800 11 11 and there is a relatively new internet chat service you can find if you google the Childline site.
As a volunteer counsellor I can assure you that we talk to a lot of people about a wide variety of things. I hope you give us a try.
It can also help to write everything down, like you have above, but really go for it. Write down what happened, how you feel and what you want to happen. It can really make things make a lot more sense when it’s down on paper in front of you and it can relieve your mind a bit when all of these thoughts have their own space too.

You poor thing! You have really had a tough time lately. No wonder you’re depressed. I am glad that you have admitted you are as lots of people feel embarrassed to admit they cannot cope. I am sure what you are going through is awful and well done to you for making the effort to get on with your life. It may not seem like it but you have been pretty strong all along. Finding a job in any country at the moment is hard. So be assured you are not the only one finding it hard to get work. You mention may times in your question that you’re depressed so i urge you to seek help as you need it so badly. Don’t suffer in silence. See your doctor as there is lots of help available. Your doctor can put you in touch with a therapist. Also look in the tel directory and see if there are helpline numbers e.g The Samaritans. You can talk to some people on these helplines that are kind and will listen to you without judging you. Reach out to your family even if they can’t offer any help with money. They do love you and will help you in anyway you can. And last of all come on here whenever you need to. There some nice people on here who will be able to help too. Good luck sweetheart and be brave xxx
